Vernon J. Petri

Mr. Petri attended high school in Hammond, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University and served several years in U.S. Governmental Service. He graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 1966 and was elected Prosecuting Attorney for Owen County, where he served until 1974.  He was elected president to the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Association and served on the board of directors for a number of years.  He was selected and served on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Petri has been named to the Million Dollar Forum, which is exclusively reserved verdicts and settlements in excess of $1,000,000.

He is presently on the National Board of Directors of the Breast Implant Litigation Group of the American Trial Lawyers Association.

In his 30 years of practice, Mr. Petri has fought to expand the rights of those injured in Indiana by exploring new theories of negligence, and in many cases, appealing them all the way to the Supreme Court of Indiana.
